With us, you get more than creative freedom and a voice in decisions - you become part of an ambitious team that works every day with passion to advance our AI platform and drive lasting change in industrial procurement. That's our standard. To continue fueling our growth, we're looking for you as a Manufacturing Planner | Production Scheduler (m/f/d), based in Nuremberg or Deggendorf.

Ready to help us make industry more efficient? We'd love to meet you!

Your mission

Technical Sparring Partner for our AI

  • You design and evaluate work plans and manufacturing processes for a variety of components
  • You calculate machining and setup times, manufacturing costs, and lot size effects based on real production processes
  • You ensure that our AI correctly interprets 2D drawings and 3D models, recognizes manufacturing features and machining steps, and accurately compares components using similarity search
  • You label prices, suppliers, and work plans for AI training and link them to historical purchasing and pricing data
  • You test and validate outputs to ensure our AI reflects real manufacturing logic and delivers reliable price and cost estimates for buyers

Technical Point of Contact for our Customers

  • You are the first point of contact for customers with technical questions about component calculation, manufacturing processes, and our platform - from onboarding through ongoing operations
  • You explain complex topics in an accessible way, translate customer requirements into concrete use cases, and build confidence in our calculation models
  • You support Customer Success and Sales in workshops, discovery sessions, and product demos, and handle technical customer inquiries

Interface between Manufacturing, AI, and Customers

  • You work closely with AI, Product, Customer Success, and Sales, bringing your manufacturing and tooling expertise into the platform
  • You turn calculation and manufacturing data into meaningful KPIs, reports, and visualizations - for customers and internal use

Your profile

  • You come from a background in production planning, work scheduling, tool engineering, cost engineering, or a comparable field
  • You are a certified technician, master craftsman (e.g. master toolmaker), or hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline
  • You bring several years of hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing - ideally in machining (CNC turning/milling) or injection molding
  • You ideally have experience with ERP, calculation, or manufacturing software
  • You calculate component costs thoroughly and accurately - this is one of your greatest strengths, not just a side skill
  • You read technical drawings and CAD file formats with ease and classify them with confidence
  • You have a keen sense for material and raw material prices and their impact on cost calculation
  • You think analytically and in a structured way, finding pragmatic solutions
  • You engage openly with customers and colleagues and communicate technical topics clearly and concisely
  • You are eager to bring your manufacturing knowledge into AI models and modern software
  • You are fluent in both German and English at a professional level
  • Nice-to-have: Some experience in technical consulting, presales, or customer success, as well as basic knowledge of SQL or Python

What we offer

  • Attractive compensation package with multiple components, including company pension scheme and training budget
  • Discounts through Corporate Benefits – e.g., Business Bike, corporate fitness programs, BahnCard, and numerous partner offers
  • Flexible working hours & remote work options – including the possibility of workations
  • A growing company with drive and openness, where you have real creative freedom and the opportunity to take responsibility
  • Open corporate culture with flat hierarchies – short decision-making paths, direct communication, and a respectful first-name (“you”) culture at all levels
  • Strong team spirit fostered through regular team events, offsites, and shared activities outside the office
  • Modern workplace with good transport connections, high-quality equipment, and free beverages and snacks

About us

If you've ever seen a CAD drawing and thought: "There's more to it than just lines and measurements", then you'll quickly feel at home with us. Because that's exactly what we believe! We work every day to make this "more" visible. PartSpace is the platform that gives technical drawings a new meaning: Our AI understands, analyzes and calculates what used to a guess work. Directly from the design. In this way, we help industrial companies to automate cost engineering and procurement processes and ultimately become more competitive in cost savings to purchase their components smarter.

Our solution? Cloud-based AI software that understands engineering. And it shows how much intelligence there really is in technical data. PartSpace AI links design data with historical prices, manufacturing methods and supplier insight. The result is much more than just a tool: It is a real game changer for the industry and became a strategic partner with enterprise sized companies like Siemens, Horsch and many more.

A team with vision from the heart of Bavaria.

PartSpace is a team of currently more than 50 bright minds who work with passion, technical depth and innovative spirit to transform industrial value creation. What sets us apart?

We are a tech company with a clear vision, but without airs and graces. With us, a modern tech stack meets a hands-on mentality, clear architecture meets personal responsibility and agility meets real connectedness. We think in terms of solutions. And we love clean code just as much as we love a different snack.
